Over 600 alumni since 1987. A significant portion go on to careers in medicine, emergency services, and public health. This program is more than EMT training, it is a leadership and medical professional incubator unlike anything else in Massachusetts secondary education.
The current Deputy Chief of Bolton Fire-EMS began his career as a Cadet, leaving class to answer calls. Numerous alumni have gone on to careers as firefighters, paramedics, and EMS directors across Massachusetts.
The Chief of the Stow Police Department is a program alumnus. The emergency medicine foundation built in this program has proven invaluable across careers in law enforcement and public safety.
Multiple alumni have gone on to earn their M.D., including current board members and program coordinators who trace the start of their medical career directly to their time as a Cadet.
Registered nurses serving across school systems, hospitals, and community health settings count the Cadet program as the foundation of their clinical career.
Alumni have gone on to careers in aviation and military service, including a Massachusetts State Police helicopter pilot who is now president of this board.
Teachers, administrators, and community leaders have come through this program, many returning as instructors, coordinators, and board members to give back to the community that trained them.

Every dollar helps but so does every item. Our Cadet classroom runs on donated supplies, CPR manikins, blood pressure cuffs, stethoscopes, bandaging materials, AED trainers, oxygen equipment, and EKG monitors. These are the tools students practice with every week.

When equipment fails, when a student needs a grant, when gear needs replacing, we turn to our donors.

Our most recent campaign successfully funded a 2022 Ford Escape SUV, a critical equipment need met entirely through donor support by a program founder. We're building on that momentum.
